The Metropolia University of Applied Sciences is offering scholarships for non-EU/EEA students. These scholarships are available for pursuing bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in August 2017.
Metropolia University of Applied Sciences is the largest University of Applied Sciences in Finland situated in Helsinki metropolitan area. The university has four fields of study: culture, business, health care and social services, and technology.
As of the year 2017, an English language certificate is not required anymore; English language skills will be tested in the entrance examination and it is compulsory for all applicants. Excellent skills in English are required for success in degree programmes provided in English.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes.

Scholarship Award: During the 2.-4 academic years, a scholarship covering 75% of the yearly tuition fee will be granted. Scholarships in Metropolia UAS cover only the tuition fee, not living costs.

Eligibility: Students must have accrued
- A minimum of 55 credits (ECTS) during the previous academic year (ending on 31st July ) in a Bachelor degree programme. The study credits must be included in the degree.
- A minimum of 25 credits (ECTS) during the previous semester (autumn semester ending 31.12. and spring semester ending 31.7.) in a Master degree programme. The study credits must be included in the degree.
Nationality: Scholarships are open for non-EU/EEA students.
